Comstock Music Series

We have been asked by many ticket holders, vendors, bands and radio stations to try to explain what is going on with the music concert in Comstock this year. Well since that is not us, we don't really know. We will explain how we got involved in this location and why we got out of this location in the next few articles. But the hot topic for those involved in trying to get their money back, and at the request of several radio staions, we will put this information on our web site and they will refer callers to our site. We have handled several hundred. Three of the radio stations have asked us if and when we are going to take the program back. That location does not work for many reasons. It never did, and never will. More on that later.

We have had over one hundred complaints that when the summer concerts were canceled, or postponed or who knows what, that the number given to get money back did not function. No answer. Folks need to go online and check the history of the Comstock Windmill Music Festival, Comstock or Bust, Up the Creek Productions or whatever it is called now. We have not checked out their web site only have information from folks that called. We have listed all callers, names and phone numbers and information to back up an information we have.

We were extremely misled with facts and figures for this business, and were given copies of information that were made up just for us. I expect this has happened again. I do have copies of records for this location that go back several years. One year the books were off $650,000. How does that work? Their answer was 'I believe it is just a bookkeeping mistake'. Now for those vendors that paid half of their fee early and want their money back but no one will talk to them, or those that want their ticket prices back, but get no response or the ten campers that want a refund.... The company is called Up the Creek Productions.

We have received threats, both legal and health related from folks that at least tell us they are from the current owner of the business. Its been fun up to this point. The rest will be given to the Custer County Sheriff and the Custer County Prosecutor.

We are not the people running the Comstock concert. We do not have any information or suggestions on how you will get your money back. We may be back in business, but most likely not at the location. Good Luck.
